"This is to confirm that Joseph Batiment sarl carried out major construction work on my barn conversion, from November 2006 until January 2007. During this time Andrew, Dominique and their team cut eight window openings and one patio door opening. All during the time Andrew and everybody who worked with him carried out all the work that was required with thorough knowledge of what was necessary to achieve the really good finish to all of the openings made by them.

You will be able to see from some of the photographs what a really good finish was achieved, everybody who worked on the site was most thorough and kept you informed of how the work was progressing.

The area around the barn was kept really tidy despite the fact that there was an awful lot of rubble from all the openings that were cut.

"I just wanted to say how delighted I am with the results of Joseph Batiments hard work over the past two weeks. What you have all achieved in the time is phenomenal. The re-pointing of the back of the farmhouse is perfect as usual, the rendering of the gable end fantastic, and the new window has transformed the landing area on the first floor to such an extent that I will definitely be moving my office up there to use the space and enjoy the new view over the fields. I wish to extend my particular appreciation to Dominique for his expertise in “Fausse-Pierre” and the fact that the window looks as if it has always been there.

I am also completely delighted with the removal of the wall in the salon, replaced by a reclaimed oak beam that looks as if it should always have been there.
